Aisha Jamila is an American actress who is best famous for her performances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her appearance on the show in 2003 she has proven her versatility in acting by making outstanding appearances on TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. Her character as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to grab her interest. It was however her performance as women's rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer, in the biography film All the Way that finally made her an actor. Hind earned praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 has been renewed for its third season with 20th Century Fox Television. Hind is currently filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The movie is scheduled to release around the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj who was who is an Army Scientist who passed away on March 18 in 2017, as well as her mother Vrinda are both domestic helpers.
