Big Time Rush is an American boy band that specializes in the field of pop. The group was formed in 2009. The group is made up of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow and also Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They first signed to Nick Records in 2009 before switching to Columbia Records. They appeared in Nickelodeon's telecast show, Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28 in 2009 until July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group’s first promo single, "Big Time Rush". Three studio albums were released by the group: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011) and 24/Seven (2013). The group went on an indefinite hiatus in 2014 which lasted until 2021, when the band resumed live performances and released their single "Call It Like I See It".
