Allyson Felix
Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on November 18th 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was apparent from the time she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her first attempt, Felix placed second in the 200 meters race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she went to an institution called the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. One year later Felix won her very first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking a junior world record by taking 200 metres at 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she became the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was a regular competitor at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished within the top three places of every event.
